All McHenry Township meetings are now held at the new McHenry Township Community Center (former Cammal Community Church) located at 145 Railroad St.in Cammal, PA.

The McHenry Township Organization Meeting is held the first Monday in January each year, beginning at 7:00 p.m., unless the first Monday is a legal holiday in which case the meeting is held on the following day.

Except for the January meeting, which immediately follows the Organization Meeting, the regular monthly meetings of the McHenry Township Board of Supervisors are held on the second Monday of each month, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

*Special Notice to Property Owners on Truman Run, Old Post Office and Okome Roads: following last year's difficulties and the township's efforts to provide adequate winter maintenance on Truman Run Road, in the interest of public safey, the Supervisor's placed new road signs alerting the public to exsiting "Dangerous Road Conditions" and "Tire Chains Required".   Our experience with numerous accidents and complaints thus far this year, particularly during bear and deer seasons, have shown that there is significant public disregard for this effort to inhance pubic safety.   Accordingly, if this public disregard continues, in the interest of public safety, the Supervisors will consider action to "Close" Truman Run Road, to all traffic but "permitted" property owners and full-time residents, for the balance of winter.

*Winter Road Maintenance is coordinated and/or performed by Robert (Bob) Deering.  Questions or requests regarding winter maintenance should be made directly to Bob (570) 753-6565.  If Bob is unavailable to respond to your calls, please contact one of the Township Supervisors (see "Contact Us")
